All in all, you wouldn't be wasting 85 minutes if you went to see the new sports comedy Mooseketball. It's no Casablanca (but what is, right?), but the story arc is solid, the characters are well developed, and the special effects work is stellar — by the end of the movie, you've completely forgotten that most real moose can't play basketball. And, of course, with award-winning cinematographer Chet Doogie on board, you're in for some absolutely stunning panoramic shots of the Yukon. The real treat here, though, is that Mooseketball offers the first ever shared scene between screen legends Dirk Bonobo and Micky Becks, playing rival coaches who can't stand each other. That alone is well worth the price of admission.
