REPOSTED HELP! Hello, Please help me find a book for school. I forgot the title and it was a really important part of my childhood. I need it for a school project.
Here is a description of the book.
A young white girl named Cecilia from around the 60's mother dies. She is sent to live with her black family members. Cecelia constantly bits her lip. Later her new family goes to the beach and other people think they kidnapped Cecelia and that her aunt, who is wearing overalls, is a man. Later they go to a church or something and see an old lady whose son has died. His photo is kept in a swirly gold photo frame. Her new family takes her to go to some sort of party with her new families friends. The party is so much fun so Cecelia asks why they don't do this all the time. Her new family says that it would be less special. Her new family talks about how this is a new chapter of her life. Cecelia makes a friend and asks if the want to walk to school together. Cecelia gets scared if her friend won't come. Her new friend comes. The book then ends on about the chapters of life.

Please help me find this book. I need this for school. I don't just want people answering just to get points. Thank you.
