Use rhetoric to analyze a song of your choice. Use two to three sources of any kind, which help you to analyze your song. An introduction and conclusion are not required, but you should have a clearly stated thesis and main points.
Make sure you consider handling only one issue per paragraph and attempt to make logical transitions
between the paragraphs.
*What’s happening in the song? What are some of its themes? Is there a plot? Does the song tell a story
or convey a narrative? What is it?
*How is the song presented? Who is singing? What does their voice sound like? What instruments are
being used? What tone or mood do these things create? Are there technological aspects in the song? What
are they? What effects do they have?
*What might the writer’s purpose be in writing and presenting the song in a certain way?
*What is the cultural context of the song? What was/is going on in society at the time?
*What is the genre and intended audience of the song?
*Do particular words take on a specific meaning for you?
*What is the song’s overall meaning/message? Is it effective for its audience? How so?

My actual paper needs to be at least 600 words but I really just need someone to point me in the right direction!
