My personal opinion is yes.

Schools tend to teach every subject within a historical timeline many of which are the suffering of native american's,Jewish people,African american's and many more. the majority of these people in history are immigrants to this country (All our ancestors are immigrants to this foreign country, surprisingly even white people that tend to be the ones to say "go back to your country" considering they stole this land from native Indians). The point is newer generations are forgetting where or who they came from, it wouldn't be a mistake to remind them that the hard working people right now keeping this country running are immigrants regardless of race.
