A poet can create new worlds by clever word choice. When I say word choice, I mean advanced, descriptive wording. A poet may also tend to

It drags readers into it, and almost flips a switch, that interests the reader because it is not traditional, basic writing. Poets tend to be subliminal, or use figurative metaphors. Majority of the time, poetry has a deeper, more complicated meaning behind the words. But, there are some poets that have written poetry, which is meant into tricking the reader into thinking the poetry is deeper then it seems, when it may have a rather unexpected, silly meaning.
