Aye, where are the boys at, you ever had that time where you admitted you had feelings to one of your like friends, and she rejected you, and she stopped talking to you and joking around with you because she didn't want it to seem like she liked you back? And you try to talk to her about it but you end up making her sad?
We used to like roleplay and stuff but she is all of the sudden immersed in her schoolwork. I've never listened to so much Lil peep before. It hurts. It really does. All I want to do is spend time with her because that's the closest I can get. I'd say that to her face but I can't because It might make her guilty and "numb" again. And I hate making women sad but that's just how it is. You can't really avoid it
She's probably going to see this, but idk anymore. If you experienced this mind giving me advice? Best piece of advice gets brainliest.

Tobias wolff most likely named his short story "mortals" because the story explores the theme of people coming to terms with the idea that one day they too will die. wanting to find out what their loved ones really think of them. achieving immortalit by being "big people" while they are alive. hoping that they will have accomplished something before they die.
