Hello! I'm writing a paper and need to use textual examples. We're using MLA format and I know the proper way of citing the author is (lastname, linenumber). But if the author has an initial for their first name would I include the initial, or just use their last name in my citation. (Sorry if this is a dumb question) for example, the author's name is O. Henry, so would I write: "quote here" (O. Henry, 110). or "quote here" (Henry, 110).
