What does, “geared toward relieving discomfort” mean? please simplify it... i don’t understand

I think it means the goal is to help something be more comfortable. "geared toward" would mean trying to achieve or move towards a goal of something. "relieving discomfort" would be trying to make something more comfortable.

answer: this is not a good thesis statement because a thesis statement is not supposed to have questions in it. a thesis states your position on your topic. a question cannot state anything because it is not a statement. a question is a great lead in to a thesis, but it can't be the thesis.

recycled waste water has absolutely no health concerns whatsoever. when wastewater goes into a system, it's absorbed back into the ground. thus, it goes into a sewer system, then goes through a treatment process that removes contaminants before being released. nonetheless, there is no problem in drinking water that has been recycled.
