His excerpt from Passage 2. It’s 92 degrees outside. The water parks should be bustling with activity! Instead, students are sitting in overheated classrooms. This brief scenario provides an illustration of why year-round schooling is not ideal. Undoubtedly, congested calendars and scheduling problems during year- round school creates unmotivated students.

How does the author use imagery to convey her point of view in this excerpt?

d. murder of a son and cooking the son for a feast

procne murdered her son and served him to tereus, her husband and her son's father. she did this out of revenge. tereus raped her sister, philomela, and cut her tongue out to keep her from talking. philomela managed to communicate it to procne and procne sought revenge.

tantalus murdered his son and fed him to the gods because he was angry with the gods. the gods punished him by putting him in a pool of water that evaporates when he tries to drink and having fruit hang just out of his reach.

edwards uses the phrase "o who can express what the state of a soul in such circumstances is! " in order to illustrate that this type of suffering is unimaginable. the word "express" denoted that the state of a suffering soul is required to be described by any person, but it would not happen because no one can imagine how this suffering is felt.
