What is like and different about the word credulity and trust

I'm not really smart but here are the definitions of them...

Credulity means: willingness to believe in someone or something in the absence of reasonable proof; credulousness.

Trust means:  

1. Confidence in or reliance on some person or quality.

2.  Dependence upon something in the future; hope.

3. Confidence in the future payment for goods or services supplied; credit.

covert: hidden or secret

candid: truthful and straightforward

what i get from these phrases is covert means undercover or underground and that's where the flower is in april. on the other hand, may is the month where flowers start to bloom and thats the reason why candid is being used as a word to describe the blossoming period of a flower.
