Make a story for me READ THE DIRECTIONS FOR THE PROJECT (ATTACHED at bottom as a file!) Last class, your character sketch was due. If you didn't turn that in, go back and complete it after this assignment.

Begin to plan out your story. Outline & brainstorm the following things:

1. What will be the conflict or the main problem in your story? Get a few ideas here (you can change your mind later)

2. What will be the setting of your story? How will the setting impact the story? Remember that setting is pretty important. For example: if you are writing a love story set on Mars, there had better be some space/Mars related events happen. Otherwise, why the heck is the story happening there??

3. Get a general idea of how the story will progress. Use the Story Arc diagram to outline the inciting incident, the rising action, the climax and the ending. Again, you can change these later, but you should roughly plan it out. Remember, this is fiction! You can let your imagination run wild. And have fun!!

The picture below is my EXAMPLE of what to submit. You don't copy the ideas, just the layout... Conflict, then setting, then diagram.
