Then you would begin your claim. Your claim is what, in this case, you would be comparing and contrasting. So your comparing the similar ideas present and contrasting them meaning that what's the same and what's different. Example: Sonia Nazario presents similar ideas in a biography and editorial but they are different in many ways.

Body paragraph 1: Begin with a transition word. This will let the reader know you are about to start the first paragraph. Your main focus here could be comparing. Start with a simple 1-2 sentences explaining how they are similar. Cite evidence and explain. I would suggest using atleast 2-3 pieces.
