Well first off let me start by saying that I have always looked up to one of my older sibling who were in Mu Alpha Theta. I was inspired by them to join and I am really looking forward to becoming a member. I worked exceptionally hard to maintain a grade average above 3 point 0. I believe that I can contribute my skills of mathematics and positivity to the Mu Alpha Theta. I feel it is essential to keep a positive attitude especially when you are working on something that requires complete concentration like math. My math skills are extremely high because of the amount of effort I pour into studying. What I expect to gain out of being a member of Mu Alpha Theta is a higher understanding of formulas and variables and team work and society. I expect to gain confidence in my work and a more complex meaning to mathematics.
