Pathos is appeal to emotions my teacher would say the path to the heart. Someone might say I have been in your same situation and understand the struggle that you are going through and will be there for you. This would appeal to someones emotions because they will find comfort in the person and trust.

Logos is appeal to logic someone may use facts and data such as showing that by people who choose to own a dog are generally happier than people that own a cat and provide data to prove their point
