The ghost of Christmas present shows Scrooge how Bob Cratchit, his clerk, and his family spend Christmas. Scrooge sees here that they have so little, that Bob’s son. Tiny Tim, is sick, that they bearly get by. Yet their celebration is joyous and they treat each other with respect and love.

Ghost of Christmas present showed Christmas at Crarchit’s to Scrooge so he can see that despite Bob having a lousy job, being underpaid, and his family having so little, they are still happy and celebrate.

He wants Scrooge to learn that money doesn’t buy you happiness and that there is no excuse for him being a horrible human being. In Cratchit’s home, he can see a family that has so little, who celebrate despite knowing their son will die soon, and yet they are still kind, loving, and warm to each other.

Scrooge can learn kindness from them, and being generous even when life circumstances are terrible.
