Throughout history, people have been driven to explore the unknown. In 1492, the explorer Columbus sailed to the New World. Almost five hundred years later, outer space became the new frontier. Astronauts flew into space to learn more about the universe. This same drive led people to turn their interest toward the deep ocean. We can only wonder what the next frontiers will be.
