Also, schools report that these these health challenges impact undocumented children as well. They are also vulnerable to gang recruitment and other negative influences. But success isn’t likely when a student skips schools every time it is rumored that federal agents might be in the community looking for “illegals.”  

Working to learn a new language can be frustrating. Kids are usually placed in grades by their age rather then their ability for kids who don’t speak English this make it seem impossible to catch up. This make This makes parents feel disappointed as their children struggle to keep up in the classroom. It also makes it hard for parents the help their kids with there homework. Many parents struggle to understand the schoolwork because they are not as fluent in English themselves. This creates a language barrier between teachers and parents, reducing each side's ability to help the student. As kids get older, they will learn English a lot faster than their parents. While this will greatly help the kids in school it can frustrate parents who feel left in the dark.
