Giving back helps form bonds with the place and people that students grow up in. It can also teach students about having respect for their neighborhood, like picking up waste. Respect for those older than the students is also very important, and would be taught through doing work for an older folks home. Having that learning experience is crucial for helping kids grow into outgoing and outstanding individuals.

Although giving back to the community is important, many students simply do not have enough time on their hands to achieve the required amount of service.
