Explanation:

You see this question is very valid and many hypethetical situations arrise when debating the question being asked. Now, lets say that were looking at the definition of prose in a metaphorical sense, prose... in that sense of the word means a type of literature expressed using laterals, hyphenated sentence beginnings, and a first person narrative. So now that we have that underway lets talk about prose in the literal sense. Which means that by the literal defintion prose is an ancient type of literature, used often for creating short stories and telling stories in a diabolical sense. I hope my answer helped:)
