How do I identify the claim, determine evidence, distinguish between the types of evidence while I’m ready through a article

The claim is the topics in which the article is asking or revolves around. The evidence can be quotes out of the passage. Just use quotation marks (“) when quoting evidence and back up your evidence with explaining your reasoning as to why you feel this way. Or what the evidence is trying to say. Also to distinguish the evidence you have to have more then one reasoning that supports your claim. All evidence have to point towards what you’re trying to say about this passage. HOPE THIS HELPS!!
