M. de Treville is known as the commander of the King's musketeers and a close and loyal friend to the king. He is also known to be a surrogate father figure to the soldiers. Also, Treville treats the Musketeers as his own sons and he is a role model and mentor to young d'Artagnan.

As the King's loyal friend, Treville speaks to the King respectfully which makes the King value his loyalty and devotion.

"The Three Musketeers" is a story by a French author known as Alexandre Dumas. The story recounts the events that occurred in the adventure of a young man called d'Artagnan.
