I open my eyes early in the morning, soft sunlight pouring through my window blinds. In the distance, I heart the musical trill of songbirds and the low humming of the neighbor's lawn mower.

I yawn slightly, smiling softly to myself. It is another beautiful day in the neighborhood. As I get dressed, I think of the gathering my neighbors have planned for everyone today. It would surely be a day of joyous merriment.

Time passes as I cook and eat breakfast and soon after, I decide to take a walk outside. As I stroll, I can see some walking their dogs or playing outside. I stop for a moment to pet a neighbor's dog and make small talk with the owner. We talk excitedly about the party. It seems like everyone plans to come.
