In 150 words, respond to the following: Imagine if the narrator of Hard Times was first person limited as opposed to third person limited. How might this change the tone of the novel itself?

Had the narration been done in a first-person narrative voice, then the characters will be judged right from the beginning and they will be deemed as good or bad characters right from the start. But, a third-person narrative voice allows diversity in the narration and leaves the judgment of characters to the readers, keeping an open mind about how they are portrayed and how they will be perceived by the readers.

i think the correct answer would be adjustments in life roles.  this causes for one to adjust or change totally his/her career or lifestyle since the present is not beneficial to the life role he is at. for instance, you became a mother you would of course stop going to malls and enjoying life outside. you would be staying at home taking care of your child.
