One makes an inference when they use what they know to guess about what they do not know or read in a text.  It is from suggestive clues in a text or in a situation that someone can make inferences.  To figure out a meaning from some actions or situations, the reader infuses his or her personal experiences.  Combining such clues and experiences helps him to form an opinion or make a conclusion.

"The Cask of Amontillado" is an 1846 short story by Edgar Allan Poe.  It narrates the intrigue with which Montresor beguiled Fortunato in order to murder him in revenge for supposed offences against Montresor.

halloween: it’s my favorite holiday

halloween is one of the best holidays for some people but it can also be scary for others. halloween is a holiday where some people believe spirits and soul of the dead that haven’t moved on will come back again to haunt the lives of the living. this is why many people dress up in costumes to disguise themselves as someone else. some people like us wish to be something that we would benefit in life from. like angels of god. some dress up just to be unique from the others. many families stay home and watch scary movies and others dress in their tremendous costumes and knock on each door to either get a trick or a treat.

personally everybody loves halloween because i could be someone else one day out of the year. it’s fun and entertaining, especially for kids. halloween also has a lot of history. many myths and beliefs say that witches and warlocks are alive and living among us. is this a trick or a truthful treat?

halloween may have secrets and scary things behind the door but we love halloween and it is beautiful to see how happy children are when each door opens full of treats and goodies. it makes everyone happy. happy halloween day.

nobody can deny that cars are the most used means of transport all over the world. however owing a car could have some disadvantages. first of all, having a car on your own allows you to go everywhere without depending on timetables. moreover, you can use it whenever you need it no matter the time or the climate conditions. furthermore, if you have a car, you would not have to wait for nobody to share it when going to somewhere. nevertheless, one major disadvantages of owing a car is the fact that fuel is very expensive nowadays so that not everyone can afford it. in addition, you have to pay insurance to be protected by legal conditions. apart from this, the person who owns a car always has to maintain the car and repair any mechanical problem which could costs a huge amount of money. what is more, if you have to travel long distances, and you do not like driving, one probably would be exhausted and irritated due to driving for a long time. besides, cars cause environmental pollution. to sum up, owing a car means that you have more freedom to travel whenever and wherever people want to, however the car maintenance could be a very expensive issue that can have bad consequences at your economy.
