I need help finding a topic for this project. Project: Current Events Report Project Goal: To understand the importance of media bias and the impact of Current Events. Directions: Please carefully read through ALL the directions listed in this document. You are responsible for following all instructions that are listed. For this project, you will choose a historical (will have an impact on other events or situations) current event that happened in the past week. You will find 2 articles that cover the same event or topic and answer the questions listed below the project rubric. o • Project Checklist: Make sure your project includes each item below before you submit it; missing items may cause your project to be reassigned. o An event (action) that happened outside the United States or involves multiple countries. o An event no more than 10 days old when you submit the project. o Responses listed directly after each question (i. e., response to #1 listed after question #1, response to #2 listed after question #2, etc.). o 3-4 complete sentence paragraph response for each question. An informational heading placed at the start of your responses. o A properly formatted Works Cited page with both sources included. New events within an on-going situation can be used - a specific bombing within an on-going war, for example. If you want to be sure, please send your teacher a message asking if the topic you chose is appropriate or not before starting your work. Stories about sports, celebrities, documentaries, and other such entertainment news do not count as a current event. *If you are in two history classes, it is plagiarism to try and earn credit for the same work twice*
