How are teenagers in the 1980's different from current teenagers in China? 2-3 sentences would be preferred but anything will help :)

well, in our 80s, we had lots of poppy, happy go lucky music and bright clothing, funky hair, etc. current chinese teens are very, in a word, flowy? theyre really calm and collected. but both borrow influences from other places, china borrowing western modern looks and their own traditions.
