Chief Gregory B. Cade is, as of over a decade ago, the United States Fire Administrator. He was voted into the position by unanimous vote on March 25, 2007. The role of Fire Administrator is part of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA, for short), which is, in turn, a division of the Department of Homeland Security, and his trial was on March 15 of the same year. This division, created in 1974 by Gerard Ford, helps to ensure the safety and efficiency of communities and, more specifically, emergency response officers (such as the police, fire department, hospitals, etc) across the United States of America. Though the group is mainly known for its work in natural disaster relief, disasters in urban areas are also under its jurisdiction. Gregory B. Cade has worked in the department of public well being and safety for well over five decades, which includes more than eight years as Chief of the Virginia Beach Fire Department and as that city’s Emergency Services Coordinator. The role Gregory B.
