Is it OK to be consumed by the desire to do something that might land you in trouble? Express your views

In my opinion, it is and isn't to an extent as many people suffer from a mental health illness known as OCD or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. This illness can make you feel  like you have to do something even if it will get you in trouble. In this case I think it is ok as you physically cannot control it and if you are so willing in to not doing it, it can be a great  emotional torment. This desire is for the satisfaction to soothe the victims mind and thoughts.
