Is it appropriate to have a "maidens" feast? Why or why not?

I believe it is inappropriate.

Explanation:

"Maidens Feast" is  a ceremony celebrated to appease monsters like Mog Chothera. Those who best represent the village are often chosen as sacrifices. It is an honor to be chosen as a sacrifice, and many of those chosen dress in alluring formal wear to gain the attention of the monster.

Since it is about sacrificing, I think that is wrong, so that is the reason I think it is inappropriate.
