Driving in winter is very difficult because of the effect of the weather on the road and the general performance of the car in it because to perform well it requires special items. While driving in summer is far easier due to the lack of requirement of special items to perform well.

First of all, in winter the tires tend to slip on the road. The thing that won't happen in summer. Thus, you have to buy specific tires to drive in snowy and rainy weather. While in summer you don't have that need. Another thing is that the engine or other systems, like the gearbox might freeze. While in summer you don't have that problem. Thus, it is more difficult to drive in winter. Finally, they view the road can be very difficult because rain and snow can difficult your sight. While in summer a good pair of polarized sunglasses will be the only requirement.
