Lord of the Flies questions. This seems to be an easy vote for most of the boys, but Piggy hesitates. Ultimately, Piggy does vote for Ralph, but why did he hesitate in making his decision? Chapter #2: In Chapter 1: “The Sound of the Shell” and Chapter 2: “Fire on the Mountain” the simple conch shell becomes increasingly important to the boys.
