Best way to reply with sarcasm ?

Depending on what they say, I just throw over the top sarcasm back at them, acting like I didn’t catch their sarcasm. If it works right, they will then usually, say something else even more sarcastic, given me a chance to respond again. I’ll keep the game going until they realize they are being gamed.

If someone says for example, “It must be hard to be so talented.” I might respond, “It is hard. Thank you for recognizing it.” They follow up, “ But you are so good at playing guitar.” Me, “I guess I was born with the guitar gene. You could be equally good with a lot of hard work.” etc etc.

but it is sometime nessary to hit key points or subjects   but is sometimes to much reveiw if there was a way to slim down the redone work it would improve for every body.
