The zoo was just like I remembered it. I walked alone through the monkey exhibit, which used to be my favorite. Now, it seemed like a sad place. I had spent the last three years in Africa and I'd watched monkeys chattering and swinging free through the jungle. Abruptly, I turned and left. I knew I'd never return here.
