1. sugriva and bali (vaali) were two of the most powerful brothers, one day when the raakshas came for bali they took their battle into a cave. when brother sugriva saw blood coming from the cave he instantly figured bali had died so he shut the cave. not the case, bloodthirsty bali was alive and he was coming for his brother. sugriva ran to the mountain where bali had been banned and furthermore was safe.2. in the painting, it is portrayed as if bali is a peaceful god that is the weaker opponent  paired up against his brother due to the fact that sugriva is painted quite bigger, where on the other hand in the text bali is described as a savage god that killed many people.3. both the painting and text portray the idea of powerful gods resembling the blue color, for example, you can see in the painting bali is blue while the others are not.4. one detail that portrays the culture is the illustration throughout the painting, jewels, animals, and clothing worn by that culture can easily be recognized  in the painting.apex.eskettit hope this
