One spectacular gravity footprint appears as smudged,
multiple images of galaxies. Such images can form when
light from faraway galaxies passes near a black hole but
does not cross the event horizon. Sometimes the galactic
light splits up and bends around the black hole. Some

goes down. The beams of split-up light make it around
