Whether the problem is you don't understand your homework or you got fired from your job it's you who has to fix. You could except defeat and leave the problem be or you do something about it like going out to find a job after you got fired or messaging a classmate about the homework that you don't get. Any time there is an obstacle in life and you get though it you are using your courage.
