In Animal Farm, the animals take over the farm and drive out Mr Jones because he is
exploiting them. Likewise here Priestley makes a link with the workers feeling exploited and
the beginning of the first world war. Can you find reference (near the end of the speech ) to
the fact that the labour force in 1912 are not happy and that the first world war is caused by
the clash of values between the rich capitalists and the poor labourites.
