Below is a phonetic transcription of two stanzas in the poem "The Walrus and the Carpenter" by Lewis Carroll. The speaker who transcribed it may not have exactly the same pronunciation as you; there are many correct phonetic versions. However, there is one major error in each line below that is simply NOT a possible pronunciation in English, either because (1) a symbol is included that shouldn’t be there, (2) a symbol is missing that needs to be there, or (3) a non-existent symbol is used.
