Ethos are the spirit and culture of a community. We often see ethos through Americans on 4th of July or Canadians on Canada Day. I think the Statement, " Our empire for its existence and self-defense has no other recourse but to appeal to arms and to crush every obstacle in its path" best describes ethos :)
