I would use more expression in my voice, and I would make what I'm saying relevant to the kids, and not as serious as it would be in a presentation to older individuals - I might even include one of the children in a demonstration of sorts, or do something that will surely stick in their minds after I'm done.

If I were to present this topic to little students, I would put in some colorful multimedia that appeals to them. I would also make sure that I used words they could understand.
