He describes them to be floating souvenirs of the past, where the blue skies and lush green trees surrounded everything. He chose these words to create a colorful effect in the minds of the readers. According to him, there are around thirteen total bubbles floating. But the main character of the story is shown to burst these bubbles. He described this action by using the word jab.

As the author describes the next lines, he leaves the readers with a calming and a cheerful mood. He describes the bubbles as if they are magical elements floating in the air. The name of the main character is John. He is a young boy. He creates frenzy and aggression in these lines by popping the bubbles with his spoon. He is also shown to be thinking about others in that moment and contemplates over his actions regarding a girl.
