I had finally arrived at my friends house, just in time for the birthday party. I had got an invitation a week ago in the mail, that told me to come to this address for my friend Emilia's birthday party. I thought It was a little strange though, me and Emilia were never very close, so why would she invite me over?

Well, I went up to the door, present in hand, and rang the door bell. It was a pretty nice neighborhood, but it looked like it was going to rain soon, so I wanted to hurry inside.

The door opened and two little girls were standing in the entrance. They looked no older than ten, and were wearing matching dresses with perfectly styled hair. They were obviously identical twins.

"Hey, I'm here for Emilia's party today, is this the right house?" I asked, a little nervous.

"Yes, of course, come in!" The one on the right replied with a smile.

"We are Emilia's sisters, I'm Gwen, and she's Jen." The one on the left chirped.

"Oh, well its a pleasure to meet you two." I responded, still quite nervous.

"The pleasure is all ours," Jen said, and pointed up the stairs, "Emilia is up there in her room, first door to the left. Surprisingly you are the first one to arrive."

"Oh, thank you." I said as I started walking up the stairs.

"It was really no trouble." Gwen said.

"Yes, no trouble at all." Jen repeated.

As I walked up the stairs I noticed that the wallpaper was getting a little old, and was starting to peel off the walls. I also noticed that the wood of the stairs had dozens of little nicks and chips in it, but the house its self was lovely.

As I got to the top of the stairs, I saw the first door on the left and walked inside. I saw Emilia sitting on her bed, writing in some kind of journal. When she noticed me, she quickly scrambled to hide it, and settled on under her pillow.

"O-oh, hey Olive, you're here." She said.

"Yeah, I just got here and your sisters told me you would be in here." I replied.

"Well that's great! Hold on a sec and stay here, I have to get something down stairs, I'll be right back.

I responded with a uneasy "Okay", and she was gone. Me, being the naturally curious person that I am, went straight for the journal under her pillow, but as I began to read, I quickly regretted my decision. I had read the last journal entry:

Dear Diary, Emilia here!

Today is a very special day, because it will be my chance to prove myself. I had invited a girl from my school over for a "birthday party", but she doesn't know what actually is going to happen. How lucky for her, she gets to be my first victim.
