In this discussion, you'll reflect on your note-taking experience and work with classmates to make your note-taking more efficient and effective. Let's read Dakota's post: It's a big challenge for me to listen and write at the same time, so when I'm taking notes from an oral presentation, I have to actively decide what to prioritize. I decided to prioritize listening, because if I focus too much on writing, I miss tons of information! My strategy for doing this is to listen carefully to the speaker and write my notes in 1–2 word bullet points—just enough to capture the gist of what's being said. When the oral presentation is over, I immediately begin flushing out my notes into more detail. Create one post that: Shares your note-taking strategies and posts your notes.
