What was the Trojan War?

It was a mythological war fought between the Greeks and the people of Troy. It began after the Trojan prince Paris abducted Helen , wife of Menelaus of Sparta. It led to the Troyan Horse, where the Greeks made a giant horse, hid in it, and presented it as a gift to the city of Troy. Once the horse was inside the city, the Greeks attacked at night and won the war.
