In every Greek tragedy, there is a tragic hero. In your opinion, what character traits led to Oedipus' downfall? What were his tragic flaws (flaws in his character that led to his downfall)?

I believe that Oedipus's tragic flaw, was in his hubris, or pride.

Explanation: Although he is fated to kill his father, his pride is the catalyst for that death; in his rage that Laius's caravan won't give way for him on the road, he kills Laius, his father. But the bigger picture is that Oedipus's hubris blinds him.
