Brave new World is about  a dystopian future where all try to conform.

The dystopia of Brave New World comes from its critique of consumerism and this is something that is eulogized that there is a lack of individuality even when it is not threatened by collectivism.

The society of Brave New World is so incredibly consumerist that there is no way to define personal identity away from the products it is about.

There is no way to see how the identity of  a person can be away from all the facades of a consumerist world which is the point of the book.
