Rising Action

The rising action includes all of minor conflicts and challenges that make the character's attempts to resolve the main conflict even more complicated. The exposition usually introduces the main character, setting, and major conflict. The climax is the peak of the main conflict. It's at this point the character's decision or action will make it so he/she can never be the same again. The resolution resolves or fixes everything. Usually the problem is solved, but if it isn't, the character may learn to deal with the problem.
