Make an outline, so first I advise you to think of very scary things, and browse through movies online for the scariest. Then get to understand view points, features, and isolation. Then during your outline make a few main characters, brainstorm events you can include and don't use such simple vocabulary. Example: Big: Massive or unique: Extrodinary. Does that help?
