Why do the two men blame one another for getting caught by the Selenites?
Mr. Cavor blames Mr. Bedford for eating the fungus, while Mr. Bedford blames Mr. Cavor for suggesting they go to the moon. Mr. Cavor blames Mr. Bedford for eating the poisoned fruit, while Mr. Bedford blames Mr. Cavor for attacking the Selenites. Mr. Bedford accuses Mr. Cavor of wanting to get caught by the Selenites so he can learn more about them. Mr. Cavor blames Mr. Bedford for leaving the sphere behind without marking it.
