I can't send chats on here so I'm putting it here as a complaint, it takes a long time for someone to answer a question and by then I already did it on my own

Trust me, you aren't the only one who has had this issue. I'm not with admin. or anything. So I can't really do much. I had the same problem when I first joined and I struggle in class quite a bit because of it. I tend to copy and paste my question into the search bar, and then see if it had been asked by someone before. I try to answer as many questions as I can whenever I get online, and tend to avoid asking my own. If you need it. I will check it out and speak to an admin for you if you want?

if the line goes through the center of the circle and is perpendicular to a diameter containing the center, then you get a flat circle.

if the line and the diameter of a the circle meet in the center of the diameter and at an angle, you get a pancake.

if the line is on the circumference of the circle and is at right angles   to the circle you get a ring.

if the line contains the diameter, you get a sphere.

the the line is parallel to the diameter and touches the circumference, you get a donut.
